First Time Posting: LA downtown in ruins -

Here is my first time posting a Matte Painting. I chose to depict a post-apocalyptic scene of Downtown Los Angeles and City Hall.
I recently added a montage of the references I used for this Matte Painting.
Comments and critique are welcome.

I like this! On the left side of the matte, it would be cool if we saw some mountains with the hollywood sign or more buildings in the background. It looks kinda empty. Also, to the right, the one way street sign seems to big compared with the two cars next to it. You should do a version that is a little darker in mood. Maybe a scene where it just happend! :) In general, everything looks pretty good.
Jimmy,
Thanks for the feedback! I also noticed the empty left side when I was almost done with the painting. I realized that I had remained pretty faithful to the placement of the buildings as they exist in downtown Los Angeles. However, no one would really know the difference if i took more creative liberties. I guess I was rigid in my thinking. Also, the sign does look big. I overlooked that. It must have been distorted in the original photograph. I will be sure to fix it.
I agree with Jimmy. The matte is good but if you made it a bit dark it would be a lot more interesting. Also; Parts of the building to the right should be a bit darker and not reflect that much sunlight since it's behind a building (parts of it).
