I saw that some guys here shared their photos, so I thought its my turn to give you guys something in return. I'm not the best photographer, but my eyes have become more and more like a reference scanner for needful textures. I hope I don't bother my wife too much when we travel, but I often stop and pull out my camera to make some reference shots.

So here we go with some shots from our Tenerife trip this year. The island is incredible and every matte painters dream! They shot some scenes of "The ten commandments" and "planet of the apes" there and I'm pretty sure I found the apes location. As I don`t have a Flickr pro account, so they are just 1024x768. The original size 3072x2304 and I have a lot of panoramas in 3000x10000.

If you are interested in the full size pics and sharing stocks, just call me. I have a lot more! It would be great if there are other matte artists out there who like to share their stock, I think in times of internet 2.0 this could be a nice thing for all of us.

Best wishes,

Default cameras - 05-13-2009, 04:13 AM

Hi, you can buy any cameras who have 10 or more millionx pixels, i have a canon eos 300d 10.500.000 pixels, 2x 8gb card, 3batteries, professional tripod, bag, lens 300mm, 55mm, and others.
My first camera was a canon 5M pixels :D really crap quality...
Buy a tripod too, if you want take pictures durint the night, use a withe paper or plastic t check the white balance, and bracketing.
Take allways in the most high resolution, and its better if you have 2 or more batteries, a 16Gb flash memory card or more its better than the small one you go to have when you buy your new camera, in general is a poor 1gb card...
