Default Alex's speed practice - 10-26-2008, 06:02 PM

I'd like to get better at working fast and loose. I'm too detail oriented and find it difficult to churn out rough paintings that just get an idea across. My plan is to do a number of these color sketches until I feel comfortable doing one in less than two hours.

This first one stretched out to more than four hours, unfortunately.

Looking good Alex.
If you try to stay loose, focus on light, colour and composition as opposed to details, you will quickly find yourself improving.
Keep it up!

Nick
