Posted this over at CGTalk in reference to the Matte Painting pool on flickr:

I just added a bunch to the pool - a random assortment of a little bit of everything, most from a canon 5D. They will need cleanup since the sensor was dirty on some of the images, or they were taken through spotted glass etc. but hey they are free to use as you see fit.

I just realized that my 24-105 lens which is my main lens for that sort of stuff is back-focusing so all the shots are a bit blurrier than they should be.. oh well.. I'l have to get it calibrated asap. There goes another 150 bucks..

I have tons more shots I'll upload when I get around to..

just wanted to encourage people to join our matte painting resources group on flickr called matte paintr:

Matte painting resources are HD/2K images (minimum) to assist in the creation of high quality matte paintings for the vfx community

would be great if everyone who joined could also post a photo or two each month. i know some people dont have pro accounts on flickr but one work around is that people have sent links to large images hosted on other sites

this can become a great resource for vfx/matte painting people. hope everyone decides to join and contribute!
