Ok I know that this is very late but thought I would post it anyway. I had this image kicking around and thought I would do something with it. It took about 12 hr.

I think working with high contrast images as Day4Night is very hard.
I’m not sure if the bottom extension of the hills is helping with the composition.
You have the 3D elements well placed, and the tree is good.

Ya the bottom of the fram is kind of empty. I'm working on a stone starecase to wind back and forth up the hill. Thanks for your comments.

Much better, because the stairs are hiding what was a problematic area before imho. (You can't see the harsh line between grass and house anymore)

I'm thinking I still might add some taller grass. Make it look more unkept. It's kind of funny. Who would mow this lawn? Maybe the guy who is barried up by the house. I could put in a shadowy figure pushing a mower.... or maybe not. :?
