Default ABC's Invasion - 11-06-2005, 08:04 AM

Hi there..its Jamie, havent had a chance to post on this site too much since I started work on invasion. If any of you watch the show, you know it take place in the Florida everglade..Reality is..NOT. I've been working on the show since Ep 02 and doing lots of Matte paintings. Wall Street Jounal (entertainment section) will be doing an artical on the show and 2 of my matte paintings will be featured. I even think they are gonna mention the artist's name (me) wich is a rareity for a freelance guy like me. Dont know which images they are gonna pick if any..but I'm showing you all a few images from the show.

I recently moved so when I get my main computer back up..I'll post more images. But this is pretty much what I get. Bluescreen from the shoot and make it look like vast expansions of landscape.
chat with you all later
Jamie

Yea I composited it as well. I do most of my own composting with the my matte paintings. On of the nice things about working at Eden FX is your able take your shot from conception to final ..And feel good about puting on the demo reel and saying "yea I did that..all of that"

JSBAXTER: Very well done. I like it. What is the sort blue screen monitor in front of the boat? Strange.

Wow Smooth!

I didn't know that you have some knowledge about boats and fishing! You're Greek, good compositor, video Editor, Matte Painter and then, you are a fisher!!! You have everything for you man! (I am kidding of course!)

Seriously, the idea of a Megallan naval GPS system sounds very logic.

Thank Smooth

See you soon at Alpha-Vision
