Hi everyone, here's another WIP.



I decided early on to move my values from a bright horizon to a darker foreground, with a slight color shift. Originally I created the horizon as an undefined cloud mass, but a few weeks ago I decided there wasn't enough depth and reworked it into the version above, which I think helps sell the scale in the final image a bit more.

Hi Everyone, below are a two random WIPs and the final image. The top image was my original unfinished sky, which I ended up reworking early on for a tad less backlit and more detailed finish. The second image was an unfinished interpretation of the mid-ground, as some sort of cloudy whirlpool. I felt it was too busy so I ended up reworking most of it, which is always a hard thing because I spent a significant chunk of time crafting it.
