No way, seriously? Get your ticket and popcorn will ya? U need to see your work in action on the big screen.

Lol, thats ok then. As long as you have seen your work then who cares about the rest of the film hey? ;) Must be a good feeling to see your work up there too!

I saw Die Hard 4 durring release week because 1. My wife is a big fan of the franchise. 2. I wanted to see the matte paintings and try to guess which painting was Rick's.

I was actually impressed with the film and Willis brought alot of "Jersey Fun" to the scenes.

I actually guessed that the matte painting was at the end of the film but my guess was not this shot. My guess was another shot from the same scene that was a low-angle shot of Willis entering the old building. I saw the freeway colums and guessed that they where actually from a Phoenix overpass.

Awesome job Rick. I thought this shot was real. Looking at it further, I am wondering if the clouds are Arizona clouds?

Thanks. No, not Arizona clouds. It's a combination of several different skies,
painted together.
We have had some spectacular clouds lately, And I've been up at dawn many
times recently, photographing sunrises for a commercial. And as I write this, a
thunderstorm is raging outside. Lightning is striking at an average of once
every two seconds....

Awesome.
