Whiskytree, located in northern California, offers visual effects services for film, games, and advertising.

We are seeking an Apprentice Digital Matte Artist for a current feature-film project.
If you are used to working in a specialized work environment, but have a knack for doing lots of different things, we want to hear from you.
A typical day at Whiskytree includes:
• Supporting the studio’s artists
• Learning new skills
• Training in new tools
• Hands-on design and shot production opportunities


Qualified candidates have an enthusiastic, problem-solving attitude, constantly seek to learn new things, are able to convey realism in their work, and possess at least 2 of the following:
• A college degree in visual effect, industrial design, architecture, computer graphics, or related field
• No related professional experience in the industry
• Highly developed traditional art skills
• Advanced digital art/computer graphics skills
