'Comic sans' is the name of a font.

It's the font you used for the label of your painting.

It's also closely tied with 'papyrus' for the worst font currently in existence.

Probably a good idea to avoid it.

In terms of the actual painting, it's got a great feeling of color/atmosphere, but the brushwork is a bit muddy and undefined. Try using harder brushes (brushes that aren't so soft at the edges) in your next painting as much as you can, and see if it gives a cleaner, less muddy result.

Can you explain exactly how you approached this painting? I find it strange that you list the instructor as Alp Altiner, yet your painting is almost a direct copy of one of Dylan Cole's from his landscape painting dvd.

I know what your talking about, but I haven't copied all his painting and I know some of the elements can be match from his paintings but I didn't copied his painting at all,some of the elements can be the same, I can't denied that but,this is all my imagination. You give me your email address I will mail my blocking which I did before getting into these details and as well as my Psd file also, so that you can easily get to know how I have done.Also I can send the texture brush also if you say which I have used making this painting,and as I am still learning so I can do my best to convince that this is my painting.

I believe that you painted it, and i can see the differences between your version and Dylan's, i just found it odd that you listed your instructor as Alp and have submitted a pretty close copy of another artists work.
As far as the painting itself goes, its pretty well painted and doing studies from other artists can be very good practice. I recommend doing some studies from life if possible, it will teach you a lot about composing an image and colour and tone.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I will keep these points in mind next time and post with different materials and I will use a different font and brush next time. and nickmarshallvfx, I am doing online classes of Alp Altiner so I mentioned his name here.
