Getting better every time Dave!
I think you need to increase the contrast in the distant extra town buildings, at the moment they disappear into the background too much to really see. The movement on the palms looks a little jerky too, particularly the two BG palms.
The changes to the values in the foreground make a massive difference though, its all looking great!

thanks... yeah I lost the town with a lens flare I added in, wanted a pop as you went round the corner but havent got it happenin yet... wrestling with patches now, they're fussy huh? :) dave
