This an artwork from old Dry Docks located somewhere in Balboa, Panama. Is based on old photogrpahs in the time when the Panama Canal was constructed. It represents efforts of different cultures in my country that worked so hard for making my country's dream come true. Hope you like it.
Here are the passes and the wireframe of the ship so I render this on a pentium 4 so I got to make everything in parts and then composite. . . the file is more than 1.5 million polygons in all the scenes. The diffuse pass was done in several parts and collapsed all into a single difusse pass. . . I am happy because I discover how to render big scenes with a very bad computer. . .so it was a challange I hope you like it.
Interesting project, I look forward to seeing it progress! The ship model certainly looks highly detailed and its obvious a lot of care and attention has gone into the modelling, so nice work so far!
