if you were to animate the water and mist and maybe a camera move it would help bring it to life. other than that the composition, color and atmosphere is nailed down nicely.
- Its quite clear that you have used the same references for the waterfalls and just flipped them. Find different references that have the same feel to them, or heavily repaint the images when you reuse it so that it is unrecognisable.
- The composition feels very central and symmetrical at the moment. The mountains fall off in the centre, the main waterfalls are central, and the elements framing the image end at almost exactly the same point. Look into the rule of thirds for a more pleasing composition, and have one definite focal point rather than many focal points all running up the centre of the painting.
- The overall grade feels a little heavy-handed to me. The strong yellows give a more fantasy feel and grading like this does help tie the elements together, but it does so at the cost of photorealism. Maybe try brining a natural colour pallette back into this.
Keep it up, look forward to updates!
