There's some great lighting here, but it's too 'graphical' to look like a photo-real scene - there's too many lines EXACTLY parallel to the frame of the image for it to read as anything but a flat cutout.
I'd love to see another version from a more interesting angle, keeping the beautiful lighting and atmosphere. It'll probably involve a bit of a struggle with perspective (a basic 3D scene, even in sketchUp could help), but it would be a massive step forward.
