for the top one, i think one small problem is the level(s) of contrast and saturation at the bottom. it seems like the palm trees are a lot more saturated and a lot more sharp/bright...

Looks great, but I agree with Jay Gladwell. You should up your black levels a little bit and adjust the highlights a bit down. Nice though, you've got a winner.
