Australia Matte

Here are two base paintings done for Australia. There were, of course a heap of people, cars, explosions moving trees and planes added. These served as only the back drop to a bombing sequence.

Definitely the multi camera and the use of masks, both for masking between the maps as well as the z-depth maps. Also, don't forget to mention to turn off tiling as hat can really puzzle people.

here is a solution... Remember to turn off tile for each of the texture maps like I did. It's quite a trap.

I split out the opacity to a grey scale image (in photoshop) and simply put another camera map per pixel into the opacity slot of you material. I do it all the time.
