Hey everyone
I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my reel. I've been applying for every painting position I can find but I don't seem to be getting any bites. I don't know if it's my lack of experience or if I'm just not good enough. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look at my reel, gallery, and site in general and just let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The painting seems pretty good, but the cuts are just way too fast. I might almost cut out the titles completely, they're kind of distracting and anybody who is going to be watching is going to know a wireframe when they see it. Definitely lose the sketches and concepts at the end. The rule is always best work at the beginning to catch them, best work at the end to leave them wanting more, and if there has to be a middle, make sure its still awesome, so no concepts/WIPs.

Also, all of the camera moves are pretty simple push-ins. Stand out with a more complex and faster camera move. Yes, its more work, but I think its better to have one awesome shot than five average shots.

Very nice work otherwise. You've got some talent.

Thanks for taking the time MPaquin. I'm actually working on a more complex camera move right now, because I thought the exact same thing you said. I always wondered if everything was little too fast.

Hopefully I can get some other feedback from more people, but I'll definitely be looking into the changes you suggested.

Thanks again.
