Hi Everyone,

As I'm new to this forum, I've a small doubt. Can you please suggest me any good website, from which I can be able to download reference images for matte painting?
I'm only using google images, but most of them are not in good resolution.

Please help me out.....

Here are some that i use:

Flickr - http://www.flickr.com - Great for finding just about anything, but difficult to get high res images some times, and you have to check the copyright on them as they all differ.

Stock Exchange http://www.sxc.hu - Similar to above, but easier to navigate the copyright policies on different images.

CGTextures - http://www.cgtextures.com - Great for high resolution, royalty free images. There is a download limit per day, but you can get a good few images before you hit the limit. Not too many images there compared to others, but amazingly good quality all round.

Image After - http://www.imageafter.com - Similar to Stock Exchange. I used to use this one a lot but havent used it at all in the past year or so. Not sure if it still operates the same or not.

Hope you find what you are looking for!

Nick
