hi

1/ You can adjust your brush size by clicking ctrl+alt and just drag your mouse/pen

2/The straightline shortcut is V and the brush shortcut is B. So when you want to draw a straightline, press V. You stop it by pressing B and start a new straightline by pressing V again.

3/I don't know

4/No fonction like lazymouse in Painter.

bye

There are many, many free photoshop brushes around on the web. Most of them (in keeping with the rest of the net) are rubbish, but you'll find a few gems.

How does this help?

Load a brush you like in photoshop, set it to black, and click once to draw a single copy of the source image for that particular brush. You might need to mess around with the brush settings a little to extract the image you want, but it shouldn't be too difficult.

Save this image out, and load it in painter.

Use this image as a 'capture dab' to make your own painter brush.

In all likelihood, you'll get frustrated with how rubbish most of the brush shapes are, and decide in a fit of pique to make your own... but that's all good too...

Enjoy!

Hi!
As an answer to your 4), I thought I'd let you guys know that I'm working on a program to simulate lazy mouse behavior in any drawing app!
It's called LazyNezumi, and so far it runs great with Painter 11.
Give it a try and let me know:
