Hi there,
I thought I'd share a couple of matte paintings I did a little while back - The first being an alleyway scene, constructed out of various photos + 3D objects I created & the second being a village scene, after a battle.
Both paintings have fully functional parallax, and the originals are animated.

The compositing and lighting effects were done in Discreet Combustion, the dumpster created in Maya and the vultures in 3DS Max.
