Hi there,
This's my latest matte I've painted,
showing an egyptian fantasy environment at dawn.
I know there are some perspective issues here and there.
Basically I tried to get the look and feel of dawn.

You really use the photos wisely.
I can add a couple of critics that might improve this further.
But in the other hand, I can also see that it should take lots of time to put this together.
I'm just going to say Nice job
And the 3d watch in your site… wow
Great stuff. It's currently my wallpaper, I hope you don't mind?
Any chance you're going to do a 2.5D projected version?

This is coming on very nicely, I especially like how you've used and arranged the available images. Another thing which caught my eye, that I like, is how the sunlight is catching the peaks of the Pyramids, while further down below is in relative shadow.
Somthing is telling me that that area should be a bit lighter, but I guess there might be a lot there to obscure the light. Plus its nearly duskl.
Definately looking good.

Critiques and comments are very welcome, therefore I posted the thread!

I did this matte just for fun. I thought about creating a matte, while I looked thru some holiday photos of my friend. Feel free to use it as your desktop background!

Actually it's ment to be projected on a 3d geometry, for an easy pan/zoom shot. I'll post it when it's done.
Currently I'm busy with other commercial stuff, so I hope I'll find some time to progress.
@Ross Forster: Thanks for your comment! I played around with the lighting and it was hard to decide which one goes best ...
@storm: Thanks for your critique! I didn't paid much attention to the corners. I'll use the matte for PAL resolution 720x576. I hope it doesn't bothers me, when motionblur and antialiasing is applied. ... Well, I'll see ...
Thanks for your comments!
Cheers, Daniel
