Exotic Runestone

Hello

This is my first real attempt at this sort of thing, I really wasnt sure where to start so I decided to play around to get a feel for changing the atmosphere of the scenery then just made the rest up as I went along

I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do but no real concept

Lighting on the rock around the glyphs is still a rough placeholder, having trouble getting it to look right

It's going good, however the light is not good enough. You see the light behind the statue, it's a day light, and doesn't fit too much in the dark ambient you want to create. Mostly because the lightning strike, placed where it is now, cannot produce such a bright light behind the statue and less light on the right of the statue.
