Just some fantasy about Mongol invasion.

I think this is 1246—1248 year. Ogedei khan is still alive. Guyuk is besieging Rome. Batu and Subutai are leading the Mongol army to the Last Sea. Small asian horses are trampling English land. Europe is ablaze.

The castle is too modern, it was built in the 16th century, but it's so nice-looking =)

Hey! This is a really nice piece of work, I love the crispness of it. Only one tiny gripe, I feel the human head hanging off the back of the horse is possibly too big. Still, saying that, great painting mate :)

moakley, thanks! Especially for your critique! I've counted the mongol height in the dead heads =) and it's OK. Maybe the deadman was a bit taller then the mongol, but not too much. I think it seems because the horse is small.

sharp texture and beautiful detail
my only thing (and that's a personal opinion) is that the warrior and the dead head looks a bit too clean, it seem like they clean themself up after a battle or something =P
not that I feel it needs blood everywhere, but maybe some dirt or stain?

that's just my opinion though, very very great job =)
