I know I made mistakes, but it is my first try at matte painting, I recognize most of the mistakes, never using dodge and burn tools like that again, any other lessons learned before i start #2 in my high school art project, on that note anyone know where i could get some good subway or tunnel stock images?

I would expect a turquoise water instead of gray. Your picture is way too saturated (unless it's the look you're going for) looks more like an illustration than a matte. Light source is inconsistent throughout your picture. Composition is good except for the left hand side water fall. My eye wants to enter the picture from the right and go to the left. When I get to the second waterfall, it seems out of place. Like the landscape doesn't match?

Hope this helps a bit.

Make sure you keep everything seperated in multiple layers so you can go back and fix your mistakes easily if you need to.
