Looks really nice man! Go easy on the lighting when you do it, be subtle. This looks good already.
Look forward to seeing your results!

Thanks for reply Nick, you probably right, besides there is not much lighting really going to happened, cause it's under overcast sky environment, almost silhouette like against moody sky.

I like it, lighting looks very natural. Manu people tends to force it a lot, and skylight (without sun) is important, it seems not to be there usually, but it is really. I like this piece cause without sun has a good look and feels very natural, i almost can imagine the sky around it. GReat work.

Looks very good, my only suggestion is to change the lens. With a wider lens the picture will be more believable.

I wish I can go wider, but lens for castle was set up according to lens settings of shot's original plate. Castle is located on hill in matte painting, currently I painting distant BKG mountains with wetlands, and people would ride on horses flowing this road.

Hi Edward,

it looks very good indeed. What is this for? Personal project? Movie?

Would it be possible to post the source plate?
I'm really curious now.

Final version of castle's texture. It was created using LCD monitor hope it does not look bad on CRT monitor, because of gamut issues.
