Hey Brenton,

Nice work on Castle and good article. I looked at your website too, the camera move on the Akira inspired piece is nice. Really like your studies and nature paintings too.
I started my undergrad at SVA (ended up finishing at MassArt in Boston). Steven and Marvin's works are top notch/great teachers to learn from.
I miss NYC's art scene. Loved going to SI shows and the Eleanor Ettinger galllery in SOHO along with all the other great galleries/museums.

Great stuff...look forward to more.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, I was considering Massart for a while. Seemed a good school (and priced as a state school) but I really liked the work coming out of SVA and I really wanted to live in NYC. Had a great time there to. Steve and Marvin are the backbone of the traditional realist painting coming out of SVA's Illustration dept. There are a number of other good instructors there but they are the go to guys. Max Ginsburg used to be there to but he left just before my time.

I miss NYC too (even though I just recently left..). I used to hit the Met at least once a week. Forum gallery was usually good to.
