Here is my second attempt at the snow landscape.

This is a little unfinished at this point, but definitely at a stage where i can use some crits.

The castle looks very sharp and I think you should desaturated and add more fog over the it.

Few thoughts, placing the castle a light bit to the right side may help the composition and also it would be interesting if you add few branches from the top so its like revealing the castle. Also adding a trails of walkway to the castle will help to lead the viewers view better.

I agree with Rahul, It needs a path or a road to help tie the FG and BG together.

this first thing that jumps out at me is the difference in building materials between the FG and BG
the old wooden fence does not look like it belongs anywhere near a castle with that type of architecture... but maybe that's part of your story. And the big post in the lower left corner is a little distracting, since I'm not exactly sure what it is.
