Nice,
Just wondering if there is any 3d rendering in the first one?

there's no 3D in any of them ;)
should be? :)
I dunno I use 3D only when I need to create an element that doesn't exist..it's a waste of time to create a 3D teapot when you have a photo of it...at least when I need camera movements like a pan or a simple zoom...I'll post the final composited scenes soon...but till then I have to respect the disclosure agreement.:P

They're both great pieces, but the second one feels slightly soft in some places.

Thanx Mr. Forster
I know the second one is a little bit fuzzy, I think I added too much smoke and mist.
eh, in animation looks good :)

I've seen a lot of improvement in your work and style you've been great at 3d but getting in matte painting is really hard and you've been developing your skills really quick it's great to see your work, my critiques are the same as I told you before, look for the lightness of the castle in some points and contrasts are very important for giving right depth

I like the grass in front of the second shot.
You can tell that this is a very windy, dusty… environment.
I kind of like to be in that place.

By the way, I think there is a complete duplicate of a white stone in the left-middle section of the image. You might want to scale one of them or change it’s level.

Cheers

In the second one, with such defined beams of volumetric light, I would expect to see some of that sunlight illuminating patches of the ground, but the only obvious sunlight in the scene is that tiny sliver on the far side of the bridge bottom.

Try throwing some more dappled splotches of sunlight in there . . . don't go overboard, but I think if you put them in the right spots you could really amplify the magic of the scene.

compositions are nice, especially the second one. The main thing I think could be fixed is the castle wall on the right. the scale of the stones is to big.

yea I know...I should of fix it when I had the chance, now it's already sold :)

Love the animation, and the matching sound effect.
Your matte painting in the movie file looks much better.
Great Job

new animation for ProCinema television.
everything is 3D except the final part with the logo wich is photoshop and composited in after effects.
There are more on the procinema series but so far I can only publish these 2.
The first was a gingle for horror movies and this one is for cartoons.
