I dont know what to do with it, and to me it doesnt look good yet ( and obviously to noone else either since noone has said anything ).

well,
it's hard to say what looks "wrong" or "needs to be fixed" in a render like this. I think that is the hurdle when starting with a cg base. everything looks mostly believable but doesnt look natural. seeing where to make changes becomes difficult because everything has a sort of finish to it already.
my primary issue with the image is confusion about the scale of things. are the hills covered with trees or grass? if its grass, the mountains seem an incorrect shape for the size. if they are trees, the vegetation would change from the bottom of the hills to the top. the sand also causes some problems. the way it is spattered around the bottom of the green looks unnatural. there would probably be a transition in vegetation from sand to tree or grass. it is also strange that the sand wanders so far inland away from the water. where the water meets the sand is also in need of some sort of indication. whether its darker sand near the water or white foam on the water. all of these issues confuse me about the scale of the scene.
I would look at images of the san franciso bay area. there is similar landscape there where large green hills meet the ocean. it may give a better idea about the transitions in vegetation to include.
I hope that is a help

That was a fantastic reply Brenton. I see now why I had problems believing it, but not knowing what to do. Well i still dont really, but I no what needs to be changed at least..
I just have no idea how to go about it LOL
