Iron man

Here is a painting I did for Iron Man where Gweneth Paltrow's character goes to Stark Industries to retrieve some files for Stark. In this scene we are looking out of Starks office over Stark Industries. Ufortunately due to budget constraints that used my paitning for other shots I had to remove all the work I did in the middle of the frame.

Was this all photo and paint or a little bit of 3D?
It'd be nice to see a work up of it, did they supply the plate?

Hey Justin,

I was supplied with a plate to paint on. The buildings to the right were basic 3D shapes that I painted over. The 3D was there for perspective and shape ref. The rest of it was paint and photo manipulation.
