looks very good.
but for me the sky is too dark compare to the ground, or make some smoke to justify this :p
it's a panzer in the middle ? =)

I agree the sky is too dark. It's possibly the wrong sky for the scene too.
First the lighting doesn't match. With that sky, the land would be darker, or atleast quite a bit in shadow (foreground being the brightest). The snow would probably be some sort of blueish or purple color. Or if the sun was coming from our view (keeping the land brightly lit) then the sky would have more bright highlights on the clouds.
Second...with that sky, there's no clear boundaries between the land and sky. With most of your land being clear and in focus..... you'd need more atmosphere (smoke/fog etc) to make it match. It would also add some depth to show the size of this field.
I like what you did with the land though. Its got a nice trampled post-battle kinda feel. Nice job.

I like it a lot.
I think the sky looks great, very dark and forbidding.
I think the horizon is fine, a good hazy transition which fits the weather, and the foreground doesn't look too bright, it's snow after all.
Just my personal opinion of course, but it looks fine to me.
