The Cathedral

Another try on matte painting.
I´ve been wanting to use some of my older 3D models of the parliament building in Budapest and turn them into something futuristic.
I´ve had this idea for some time and finally got time to finish it up.

Started out with a 3D plate and the cathedral model which was modeled and rendered in C4D & Maxwell, and did the rest of the job in Photoshop using photos and painting.

Wow nice job man.

Really like this piece, I think its your best one.

The only thing that does kinda bother me is the chunks of land under those chapel tops. They look a bit repetitive, and also the one closest in the bottom left should be a bit darker in the blacks.

But thats just awesome. I have maxwell but I never used much really.. I think its time to start.
