New Gnomon Matte Painting dvd!

Well, The Gnomon Workshop released a few new dvds today, mostly along this lines of Comic book layout, pencilling, inking and coloring, but check out the Coming Soon section now! :D

There is to be a new dvd, with Sebastien Larroude as the instructor. Sabastien is one of the Steambot artists in Canada, and you may recognise some of his works from D'Artiste Matte Painting I.

The dvd is to be called 'From Speed Painting to Matte Painting'. I think Sabastien works more in the games industry than the Film industry, but of course the techniques are all applicable, and it will be nice to ge tthe insight into the different areas of matte painting. It sounds from the description like it will be another one to add to your library! Interested to hear other peoples thoughts on this:

Suirebit, i highly recommend the 'practical light & color' DVD - it is amazing. Every aspiring matte painter should get it and watch it 20 times. it covers the basics that most beginners skip over - but are essential to learn.
