hi i saw this movie the other day and just thought wow those mattes are actually nice :lol:
maybe its only me or is this movie overlooked in VFX because i thought the arachnids looked great.. the movie is okey but i really enjoyed the movie as i havent seen it in 4 years or so..

so here i found out who did these mattes, with what company and it turns out that Mark Sullivan and his company Compound Eye did the works..

Yeah, thanks for the share. I really thought the first film was great when I first saw it and also think it was totally overlooked.
I am sure I remember this having some great effects and mattes too, shame about the straight to dvd sequel.
