Heres my second mattepainting, let me know what you think... Done from the images below, plus a couple sky pics, handpainted some of the mountians in back and a lot more... the castle in back is also a image...

Hi Kapten,

Nice athmosphere and color values!

But the perspective in general needs work:

The background castle has a too steep perspective, given its distance. You should also straighten out the vertical building lines (make them parallel to each other and perpendicular to the image itself). Or bend them slightly inwards from both sides, straightening toward the center, if you want to give the impression, that the picture was taken with a wide angle lens.

The white burns in the sky are distracting (what are they?).

I have to agree with maxgabl regarding the white burns in the sky. They look odd. Are they from the source image itself ? You might want to change that 'cus it does not go along very well with the color values that you've selected.
otherwise, thats one heck of a painting. Good work dude ! Hope to see more of your works.

Peace

The reflections in the water don't match. For instance. The tree over the bridge to the left was taken out. So the reflection shouldnt be there. Same goes for the water towards the right. Add the castle in the distance and the landscaping. Also the hillside to the right. Is that shrubs or trees? If they are trees then they should be hasyier to suggest a little distance between that and the bridge I think. Nice integration overall though.
