mens i m new in matte and ptojections
i have another problem, you see i m begginer and i find dificulities, i m sorry
here is what it is
i have a layer with lets say 50 % opacity at the edjes its not solid edjes, then i save as tif with its alpha and inside 3ds max it has black edjes too strong ones,
i mean, how can i save that kind of layers and to work fine, in which format or something what do you guys use to make layer with have brushes and are not solid?

Hi sonkite...
im not sure to understand your problem....

but wath i experience with alpha in 3d is that sometime there is a balck edge like you seem to experience the solution to that... be sure that you rgb channel in not filled with black... or take the color on the edge of the alpha and make it bleed through all the rest of your texture ( no black on the rgb channel only in alpha channel)

i mean wait a second, in what format you do the layers for 3ds max? in tiff with their alpha?
i tried to make black tiff alpha only but didnt worked, or i might do something wrong
pls someone make me understand this its the last thing i think i need and very important thank you :roll: :cry:

I dont think the problem is with 3dmax

i think its in the making of your alpha channel with photoshop...

otherwise i dont understand your problem :cry:
