Scroll to reveal across layers in flash?

Ive seen on sites before. I wish I could find some more id show as reference. But ive seen some people have on there sites where you can drag a scroll bar across and image and reveal an image below it like if you did a matte painting on top of an image you could movethe bar and it would reveal the original beneath. if anyone has any idea what im talking about please respond and especially if anyone know any tutorials on how to make one in flash

This could be done with a mask
you layer your two pics (orig+matte), create a mask layer, i.e. a rectangle with your images dimensions, mask one layer with it, and use the scrollbar to move the mask from outside of pics to inside to reveal through the mask. I would give it a try without connecting to scrollbar first, just let the mask move across the "stage" to see how it works

I've uploaded a small test file to see if this is the effect you wanted to achieve.
I layered two pics, my original photo and a simply blurred version of it and let the orig reveal from top to bottom.(without scrollbar)
