Hiring Matte Painter - DreamWorks Animation
Reports To: Department Lead and Production Supervisor.
Summary: Digital Artist for the Matte Painting Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides foreground, mid-ground and background paintings.
Assists with troubleshooting the background components theyve created.
Work closely with Production Designer, Production Supervisor, and Matte Painting Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to establish priorities, and work within a group, and proceed with objectives with supervision.
Strong communication skills.
Experience and Credentials:
Two plus years related experience.
Traditional painting portfolio required.
Strong knowledge of Photoshop an advantage.
Experience with 3D animation systems and compositing a plus.
