Hi everyone

This is my first post on mattepainting forum :)

I'm going to replace my 19inch lcd with Apple 30 inch cinema display and I need a new Wacom tablet.

Assuming there is enough desk space, would you choose A3 wide over A4 model just because of it's widescreen format ? It feels like a3 is too big. I wish they made A4 wide :(
Does this 16:10 format REALLY matter ?
I know it is possible to map it to screen proportions but do you think that 30inches deserve A3 format ?

Thanks a lot

You can easily use a regular dimension tablet for a wide monitor... but you got to understand that if you by a specific size then its automatically gonn be smaller the surface area because of PSs tools and buttons. And if your contraining proportions to your moniotor then you are esentially chopping off a lot of space.

My advice is, if after dropping the money in the display you have the extra money, get a wide - it can only help.

big tablets have no benefit for people like us. get the widescreen version of the A5. An A3 is just a waste of deskspace and you'll get tried from moving your arm so much ;)

Thanks for your help guys.

After careful consideration I went for A3 wide. It should arrive within the next few days :D

Thanks again
