1st matte...1st post

Hi to all,

i made this matte for an italian movie compo. Original scene was recorded in a tuscany place, i changed the look of my place, to make them similar to a strange far west.
I'm working on other 3 picture for the same movie, soon i'd like to post them too.

Crits and suggest are welcome

It looks good,
To make it more realistic, I think it should be sharper with stronger shadow-highlights.

Take a look at the histogram of your image.
You will see that the horseman has taken away a lot of data space, and that makes the scene to look washed out.

The final look of the sequence was a big war between me and the director. Original shot was made by a digital camera with a bad resulution, but was too late to re direct the same scene with better cam. He passed me only one frame to use as reference, very closed to the dead line, so... this is the final result.
I know that the deadline was for a 1st version, i expect a call where i'll give the indication to the right comosition. I'll post it at the right moment.
