hi forum,
I have a problem with camera mapping in maya7 :
I have made the following setup:
I've make a lambert shader - map my image to the incandesence channel and take the color swatch to pure black.I have a alpha also. And because of that, Now I get white Edges, something like a halo from the alphachannel + some semi-transparent areas although my Alpha is pure Black&White
I have found this solution:
"in order to get alphas to work with incandescence I usually multiply the alpha back over the incandescence before projecting it. This gets rid of the semi_transparent areas."
Found here:
http://www.mattepainting.org/forum/view ... c&start=15 (http://www.mattepainting.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=53&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15)
but I don't know how to set up this in maya.
Can anybody please help me with this problem?
Sorry for my English
