I'm a student in a French Graphic School and I have to do a Sci-fi matte, using this picture of NY :

The goal was to use Maya software to create some 3D elements that you can see in my image here :

I need to improve my result to obtain a photo realistic matte that could be used in a film so I need your advices people please because this is my first post here.

i like it...but to me it looks like a comic not photo realistic...

Nice work, but two things stand out, at least to me. The flying object on the right has an engine flame trail that seems way too long and the angle changes on the bottom one, you may want to try and make them more transparent towards the outer edges and tips. The second thing, the left forground structure textures seem to me to be out of scale with the figure; they look too large. Also the top appears to tilt to the right, if its meant to be flat where the figure is standing the perspective may be off for the angle of view, we wouldn't see any of the top surface and part of the figures left foot would be obsured. Keep it up its really very good work.
