Hi All,
This post is being put here in the hope that there might be someone out there who could help me with a poster for my film.
It is called Voodoo Joe (aka Ghost Town). It iis a story of South London Gang warfare getting mixed up with HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos.
It stars Paul Barber (Full Monty, Only Fools and Horses) and the fx are by BUF compagnie and Jean Christophe Spaddachini;
I put the ad here since I am really looking for a seventies photorealistic painted style - very exploitation/ Blaxploitation: Doc Savage meets Cannibal Holocaust with a bit of The Wild Geese thrown in for good measure....
Big background demon, Cute girl gang, Tough guy with gun, bad guy in mid action with machine gun, someone being attacked by monster, a gang driveby in a flash car, derilict south London Ghettos, brixton tube station, a squadron of flying monsters coming out of deep space, and a central shadowy figure of Voodoo Joe himself his hands resting on a cane with a goats horn. oh and some strange esoteric symbols to attract fans of the DaVinci Code (har,har)
All against a black background...
cheesy tag lines too like Voodoo Joe - pray he's your friend.
or
there's one thing worse than gang warfare...and it has teeth.
or Never, Never, Point a gun...
Anyway, you get the picture..
(i live in hope... ) :shock:
We have an incredibly small budget since we are coming to the end of filming (it was low already) but we can offer deferred payment (with a contract!), credit and to retain copyright etc.
We are working for VFX with some really amazing people. and fingers crossed, it will be a very different type of pic!
BUT
Since your poster is one of the key selling tools for completion finance, if we raise more money, we would definately give you full payment immediately.
We are happy to give a contract from the prod. company.
Please see the website for more details:
