Mountain Series with Step by Step

Hi guys,
This is a painting I've been working on (off and on) for a couple days.
I've included a breakdown of my process as well as the photo reference. I didn't insert photo elements/textures in this painting but
that's something I can experiment with as well. Let me know what you
think, and maybe you'll find this helpful.

I did some tweaking and added some adjustment layers to come
to the final image seen above.

Tightpantsarecool: I had a look at your Clear Skies image, nice work!
How's your painting coming along? If I remember you were thinking
on a wacom tablet.. I was painting with a mouse for a while, but
then I bought a 4x5 graphire.. it's brilliant as I'm sure others have said.

Speculart: Dudley, very strong watercolours, I must say.
They're all good, "From the Rifle Range" caught my eye.. nice warmth.
Did you dream about my painting afterward? Cool feedback by the way!
