King Kong mattes from the DVD

I'm a satisfied owner of the 2-discs special edition of king kong and the first thing I've done has been to grab some frames from the movie.
It has a lot of WONDERFUL matte paintings, I'll post them here.

Of course I've not worked on them, I share these pictures to talk a bit about the artists involved in the movie. Do you know who worked on these pictures? Are they showcasing their work on the web? I'd be really interested in giving a look to their portfolio :D

I know there's a book about the Kong's art, too. Do you know it? It would be interesting if the quality is the same of the books dedicated to the Art of Lotr.
