Thank you! At last, a reply!!!
However, could someone enlighten me and tell why nobody cares to reply to my posts? Cause this isn't the first time and I want to know what I'm doing wrong. This way I wouldn't have to waste my and everybody else's time with my stupide posts. Thank you...

Hi ...you might wanna put a little finishing touch on the water...make it sync more with the sky ...(like add in a little color to match the sunset )

Yea i agree with Stavroz, they water should reflect some of the sky colour. Also i think i would lower the contrast a little to make the colour more realistic, and matbe add some atmosphere so that it fades in the distance.

For some reason the castle looks a bit flat. I do like the water it looks very painted its nice and soft. But the caste is missing some darkest darks and lightest lights to give it depth.

Can we see your rough concept sketch to compare it to the end product?

Thanks for all the hints! LFGabel there is no rough concept. I did it from scratch. :D Unfortunetly I deleted the psd-version of this image and now I can't edit it anymore. Well, that's ok. I started this new one. What do you guys and girls think?

Very nice. It`s got a lovely quality. Very beautiful light. The only thing that disturbs me a little is that the mountain on the left is a bit blurry, but that's just my personal thing, don't worry about it.

No you're right stefan. The picture that I used for those mountains was already blurry. Now I added a sharpen filter to make it look less blurry. I also added two hobbits who are on their way to the castle.

Fantastic! I love it. It's got such nice light and atmosphere.
Yeah ,I think using the sharpen filter really improved it somehow. It's a matter of taste of course, it looked great before that too.
