Hi! This is a old work...It was my first attempt to do a matte paint... :wink:

Critics and comments are welcome as alway! :D

For the walls briks i used a texture from a medieval castle, and a photo of an old tower.

Your picture is cool !
Colorimetrie are good, snow is realy cool !! :)
However, (it's not a bad critic :) ) footbridge in the foreground is too large (it is my opignon...).

Hello Danka,
First I would like to introduce myself cause i'm french, so i'm sorry for my quite bad english... I'm a very beginner in matte painting but it interests me a lot!
So, your picture is nice but what is shocking me first is the difference between the size of the castle and the size of the environnement :?
As for me the castle looks like a toy... But the snow looks very realistic !! And the castle is so good but i can't managed to do not think about this castle-toy :)

I dont share your feeling about dimension and proportion, on the contrary my feeling is that the castle is too big! :shock:

lol I reckon the castle looks fine the way it is! It's well placed. The snow on the far left looks a bit odd, not the one closest to the water but the next one up. But that jetty is awesome though!
