Hey,
I like the look of huge ancient structures in beautiful secluded places, so I did this off a few pictures from Yosemite and a sky from northern Minnesota. Still need to do some touch up work on the clouds on the left and what not. But figured I'd post it as it is for any feedback.

The thing that I notice is that the atmospheric depth of your "stone fingers" is about the same of the moutains in the background. Try messing with the contrast of those layers. Also there should be some orange in the scene based on your sky, points of highlight on the right side of the fingers from the sun would go a lot way to add realism. Excellent painting of the tendrils though, I would never believe them to be not made of rock.
