it was so damn good! i didn't think it was too long at all....

acting was good...story was great....kong was unreal....


the only sequence that i felt was only ehhhh, was the brontasaurus part....there were a few comps there that I was shocked they didn't cut out.

the sequence when kong comes to get anne for the first time is un-freakin-belieavable.....they made it so terrifying and amazing.....the miniatures of skull island were insane....

go see it!

the cg looks great, the clips make the trex look awesome.

Whether or not the reviews are bad or good, it is great. If you are interested in this industry remotely, go and see it. I saw it twice and it is trully amazing. Good stuff.

OMFG. That movie was great. I finally got to see it tonight. I was very imppressed. Some of those scenes were amazing. Those Weta people are something else :P

some of the keying on the boat are blur but, there are a lot and a lot of matte paintings ! Oo'

Yeah I noticed some bad comps in there. Particularly around the brontasaurus's..weird. I would have just made a decision to leave em out it looked so obvious at times.

Still a monster of a good film.

I saw it and loved it! I did feel it was too long but it wasn't like Return of the King with too many endings. I felt it was visually stunning and agree that the acting and story were very good. My favorite sequences are all the dino stuff and when knong is hanging off the Empire State building at the end. My one complaint about that last part was that I felt like the edit in the trailer was more exciting then the final. I loved the way the girl screems and then Kong smashes the plain out of the air in the trailer. That whole sequence was more drawn out in the film and felt that it lost something because of it. Over all the whole thing was simply great!!
