HI FRIENDS, ANYBODY CLEAR THIS:
1.WHILE MATTEPAINTING ON 3D.PAINTING THE 3D IMAGE (JPGOR OTHER FILE FORMAT))ON PHOTOSHOP OR
PAINTING IN PHOTOSHOP AND APPLY TO 3D THROUGH TEXTURING?


2.how combine 3d with mattepainting?


3.mattepainting is used only for background?

4.GENERALLY WHEN COMPOSITING MATTE PAINTING WITH THE VIDEO,WE COMBINE THE PAINTING AS A WHOLE PLATE,OR LIKE LAYERS IN PHOTOSHOP?

well to be honest your questions are a bit vague and very general, theres no one way to matte painting, it can be just about all 3d, or all photoshop, or many variations in between. Many folks use corel painter.

Get any of the mattepainting gnomon DVDS, they are great, (dylan coles my favorite)

Then sit back and read and study:

To start I would grab a photo and try to play with it, add more clouds to the sky, widen the canvas out and paint in more landscape, add a feature thats not currently in the photo.

Sample colors from the photo so new element looks like it should be there.
